TICC

Takarazuka Declaration.

Let’s take a pride and rejoice at the fact that we, ‘chorus lovers’ who love singing together have gathered here in Takarazuka today, spent time wonderful together singing choral pieces we practiced hard and praising each other’s performance.

The time has been moving toward the situation we could not have imagined, where musicians are put in an unprecedentedly harsh environment. Yet, even in this tough situation, the true value of ‘music’, ‘singing together’, or getting involved in them will never be lost or slightly changed. I pray from the bottom of my heart that your beautiful singing voices will return to your daily life as soon as possible and I hope this competition will keep growing with the participation of overseas choirs.

We must once again keep in mind our thoughts we renewed today and what we think is important, and do our best to preserve choral culture for younger generation. Let’s aim for the higher stage of music for the future through the TICC competition and other choral activities that each person is involved.
